The 2020-2021 season in Denmark is coming to an end with FC Midtjylland & Brøndby IF battling to be the champions this year.
The Danish side has some great and upcoming talents, so it will be very interesting to see how they will perform in their national games.
This week FACTS looked at promising U21 talents in the Danish Superliga. We have selected five talents who show great potential and are ready for a new challenge in the near future.
Using advanced statistical and video analyses FACTS determined the current player level and play style of the five promising talents.

Position: Defensive Midfielder / Central Midfielder
Age: 20 Years

Positioning, good overall passer, strong in duels and in the air.
Morten Frendrup started his career at Brøndby IF at a very young age and is now playing for the main squad of the club. This season, Morten has been in the starting eleven for every game and plays 90 minutes almost every game. This shows his importance to his current squad. If we look at the current player level of Morten, he is currently around the average team level. If Morten manages to improve even more he will soon be above the average team level and ready for the next step in his career.
With his good passing ability, Morten is able to keep the ball in the team and move the play up the field. With his long passes, he is able to find space behind the opponent's defenders to create space for the attackers. Morten is also strong in his ground and air duels which results in him winning a lot of duels and recovering the ball.

Mohammed Daramy plays for FC Copenhagen as a Right Winger. The current Player Level of Mohammed Daramy is 1854. Since joining the first team from the U19’s, Daramy has been seen as a huge up-and-coming player in Denmark. At the age of just 19, he has a bright future ahead of him. Currently, Mohammed is still below the average team level of Copenhagen and needs to improve a bit more if he wants to make the next step.
Daramy has great ball control, which allows him to beat out many defenders with his quick acceleration. He has great movement off the ball, creating space for his teammates or creating opportunities for himself.

Kamal-Deen Sulemana started his career in Ghana at the Right to Dream Academy. After he graduated, he moved to the partner academy in Denmark at FC Nordsjælland. Kamal-Deen Sulemana has already been linked to the following clubs: Sporting Portugal, Villarreal, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Ajax and Bayer Leverkusen. FC Nordsjælland reportedly turned down an offer from Bayern Leverkusen who wanted to pay €6 Million for Kamal-Deen Sulemana. Looking at the current player level of Kamal-Deen Sulemana we can see that he is growing rapidly and that he soon is ready for the next step to another league. This is supported by the transfer rumors that are linked to him.
Kamal-Deen Sulemana has a very complete set of skills that are needed for a left-winger. With his speed, agility, and skills he is a very dangerous player. This also results in him creating a lot of his own chances and he currently has the most shots on target in the Danish Superliga.
Mathias Ross Jensen

Mathias Ross Jensen currently plays for Aalborg BK as a centre-back. He joined the first team back in 2018 after getting promoted from the U19 team. At the age of 20, Mathias Ross Jensen has already played 17 games for Denmark U19 in only 2 years. Now that he is too old for the U19 squad, Mathias Ross Jensen will be looking to join the Danish national team. Currently, Mathias has a player level of 1700 which is just below the average team level of Aalborg BK, if he keeps his current form he will soon be above the average team level and will be ready for the next step.
Mathias Ross Jensen is a defensive-minded centre-back that rarely goes to the opponent's half. Mathias Ross Jensen is very good in his 1v1 duels where he can take advantage of his strength and body, which he also shows in his aerial duels. As a more defensive-minded centre-back he has a very high short passing accuracy and a good number of interceptions.

Good speed, skills, good dribbler
Gustav Isaksen currently plays for FC Midtjylland as a right-winger. He has been playing for the main squad for almost 2 years now after he got promoted from the U19 team. Gustav also plays for the Danish U21 side and is participating in the European U21 Championship, so it will be very interesting to see how he will play in the tournament. If we look at his current player level we can see that he is still a fair bit below the average team level of FC Midtjylland, however, we can see that he is rapidly improving. In order to keep improving himself, Gustav needs to secure a place in the starting eleven. If Gustav manages to secure a place in the starting eleven we expect him to quickly rise above the average team level of FC Midtjylland, so he is definitely a player to keep an eye on.
Gustav Isaksen already has a good set of skills that are needed for a right-winger. Gustav is fast on the ball with a good dribble, which makes him dangerous in a counter-attack. He also has some good skills which allow him to operate in a small space inside the box.
